Antonio Pruitt, PT, DPT, MPA

Dr. Antonio V. Pruitt completed his undergraduate work at The University of Alabama At Birmingham, graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology. He also earned a Masters of Public Administration with a Concentration in Healthcare Administration and Public Policy from the Auburn University in Montgomery. In 2005, Dr. Pruitt graduated from The University of Alabama At Birmingham with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).  Over the last several years, Dr. Pruitt has provided physical therapy in various settings, as well as teaching Anatomy and Physiology as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor. His clinical experience includes the evaluation and treatment of a wide spectrum of injuries including: joint replacements, neurological dysfunctions, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, chronic pain conditions, sports and work injuries, as well as wound care and focusing on the promotion of overall health and wellness. Dr. Pruitt is also the founder of AVP Physical Therapy and Associates, Inc., and he proudly partners with Therapy Forward, in order to bring you the best and most comprehensive therapies under one roof.

Dr. Pruitt is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Academy Of  Physical Therapy (AAPT) and Advisory Board Member for  Atlanta Technical College Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
