Tan Taylor, OTR/L, CLT

Tan Taylor is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. Tan has an extensive background that allows for comprehensive patient care. She is experienced in treating neurological and orthopedic injuries and disorders and is also a certified lymphedema therapist, receiving certification through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. Tan established Therapy Forward, LLC from a long standing desire to not only continue but improve the standard of care by offering specialized, skilled therapy services that would provide patient-specific intervention and equip patients and caregivers to handle the transitions of injury and health through education following initial stages of rehabilitation.

A native of Alabama, Tan earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Alabama State University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from Samford University. Tan has also served as a resource for Alabama State University’s Occupational Therapy department during admissions and accreditation processes. Having received training from some of the nation’s top spinal cord rehab hospitals, the state mental health hospital, and extensive experience with the most trusted area hospitals and outpatient facilities, Tan is passionate about being able to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services for a variety of client needs.

Tan is registered with the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy, a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association, as well as the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America.
